SEN Classes at Bilal Academy
Accessible Islamic education tailored for children with Special Educational Needs — nurturing faith, skills and confidence in a structured, warm environment.
Why We Made SEN Our Priority
Due to the dire need in our community for readily available classes for SEN children, we made this our No.1 priority and built it into our madrassah system.
In September 2024 we started with 1 class of 5 children. Within a month, we opened 2 classes (10 students). Alhamdulillah, we are now at maximum capacity: 16 students across 2 classes — with many more on the waiting list.
With limited classrooms we cannot expand as much as we would love to; however, we continue to go from strength to strength, supporting our teachers and families with dedicated training and tools.
